The Nosh Cook-Off

Ah, the Nosh cook-off. The competition that separates the not too shabby weekend BBQer’s with the supreme grill maestros. Competition is always hot. The 2023 cook-off lived up to the hype with four teams delivering 45 minutes of entertainment for the massive crowd who gathered to cheer them all on.

whats the hot fuss about you ask?

Teams assembled prior to the competition where their mystery ingredient was provided live on stage. The mystery ingredients were sourced by the committee and were generously donated by Nosh exhibitors.

Teams were then sent to the shop with gift cards generously donated by Woolworths where contestants were able to source fresh produce and other condiments required to complete their masterpieces.

Then the fun commenced!

Teams stepped up to the grills, the clock started, and the cooking commenced! Teams had 45 minutes from grill to plate to create their winning dishes which were then rated by a panel of judges.

The Nosh BBQ cook-off was held on the main stage at the Nosh Food and Drink Festival.
